The American Barn

Talk about quintessential. Over the years, barns have become as much a part of the American landscape as oak trees and wild horses. They have ties to our European past, but settle into this landscape in a unique and beautiful way. The 1997 book, "The American Barn" by Randy Leffingwell nicely captures the spirit of barns from the West to New England. After coming across this collection from my grandmother's bookshelf, I just had to share it.

Road trip, anyone?

These are just one of the huge barns I've ever seen and the structures just really look so great. These photos just remind me of how great and inviting to live in countrysides with all the farm stuffs that just make the living even more fun and greener, especially the barns around, very attractive.
